Privacy Policy

In accordance with Republic of Uruguay regulations, specifically law No. 18.331 and decrees No. 664/008 (22/-12-2008) and 414/009 (31-08-2009) URUVAN TRANSPORT LTD is committed to protect the privacy and confidentiality of any personal information from the people with whom we have a business relationship.

“Personal information” or “Personal data” refers to any kind of information relating to a natural or legal person, determined or to be determined. This is the information that identifies and relates to the person or other persons (ex: dependents)

Standards and Procedures

The personal information:

1.Is processed and used only for purposes related to the required services.

2.Is kept during the time required to provide the services and is archived meeting the required times as defined in the Company Management Standards.

3.It protects against unauthorized access.

4. It is only shared with internal staff and any third party closely involved with the services provided.

5. Is backed up for the digital information by applying the “Information Security Procedure” defined by the Company.
