Home Survey

To prepare for your move our professional staff will coordinate a survey at your home to listen carefully to your needs and assess the requirements of your removal before preparing any quote. Some information will be needed such as final destination and estimated date of travel among others.

Quotation

After survey, you will receive a detailed proposal with the description of the service offered, means of transport and all costs involved. The quote also includes relevant information on international insurance and customs regulations on final destination (conditions of entry of goods).

Coordination

Once the proposal is accepted, packing and shipping dates will be arranged within an agreed time frame. The necessary paperwork will also be prepared in order to coordinate customs both in and out of Uruguay.

Packing

A professional moving staff will coordinate date and time of packing. Our team will pack your goods as previously agreed, using the appropiate wrapping materials to assure right care of your belongings through the transportation process.

Packing can begin in the location you prefer at home. A detailed Packing List, including content and code of identification will be elaborated. Boxes will be numbered for quick recognition.

Customer service

URUVAN will be permanently in contact with you through your assigned commercial advisor. Your advisor will be available to assure the accomplishment of each step of the service and to answer any questions you may have. The international removal department works together with our advisors in order to arrange departure and arrival of goods as well as to offer regular communication.

Final destination

URUVAN will arrange with destination agent to perform import customs clearance and delivery of your shipment at your residence at destination. You will need to contact our partner agent as soon as you arrive.

Some information will be requested to estimate the volume of your removal according to the goods you are planning to take.

Quotation

After survey, you will receive a detailed proposal with the description of the service offered, means of transport and all costs involved. The quote also includes relevant information on international insurance and customs regulations for the import of the shipment into Uruguay.

Coordination

Once the proposal is accepted, packing and shipping dates will be arranged by our partner agent within an agreed time frame. The necessary paperwork will also be prepared in order to coordinate customs procedures both in and out of Uruguay as well as coordinate air, sea or land freight shipment.

Customer services

URUVAN will be permanently in contact with you through our International Removal Department. A staff member will assist you on every aspect of your removal and will assure service process as promised.

Final destination

Your arrival date in Uruguay needs to be planned at least a week before your shipment´s arrival, in order to provide the necessary documentation to organize import customs clearance before your belongings could be delivered. Delivery date will be coordinated 48hs in advance. If your house is not yet ready we offer furniture storage at our own warehouse and for the time you need.

Pet Transfer From Uruguay

An experienced member of staff will advise you on the necessary documents needed according to Uruguayan regulations for departure and arrival at the destination country.

Our professionals will arrange on your behalf customs clearance proceudres and will coordinate pick up of your pet and transport to Carrasco International Airport. Our staff will stay with your pet until it is taken to departure gate (an hour prior to departure).
